Believe it or not, designers were already showing off their fashions for this summer months ago and women’s swimwear designs were no exception here. And sure enough, it’s apparent that gold is a hot color for the summer of 2012.

Not only is gold showing up in summer previews for dresses, footwear, and accessories, but it’s also showing up in the swimwear designs being shown off for this season. Gold is only one of the metallic sheens being shown off right now. Other metallics are also showing up on the runways, so be ready to rock women’s swimwear and sexy bikinis in gold, and other eye-catching metallics.
